Getting started with HeyTaco is really easy let me show you how.
Click the get started button and select your platform. On this screen you'll be asked to accept some permissions, just make sure you've selected the correct workspace you want to add HeyTaco to.
Click allow and then you'll enter into the HeyTaco setup flow. On this screen here you'll be asked which channel or channels you want to add HeyTaco to.
For larger organizations, my preference is to have a destination channel this is a channel that people go to to recognize each other and it's great for breaking down recognition silos and creates opportunities for people to see others getting recognized that they might not know or work with on a daily basis.
For smaller teams, my preference is to have HeyTaco in the channels where the conversations are happening.
I'm gonna add HeyTaco to our tacos channel and click next.
On this screen here we have the option to send a welcome message to the channel or channels we've added HeyTaco to. This is great for informing people that HeyTaco has been added and lets them know how to use the app.
On our next screen here we can add some friendly competition with leaderboards. Leaderboards are a great way to drive engagement and to make HeyTaco really fun.
And then finally we accept our terms of service and our privacy policy.
And next.. and voila HeyTaco has been added to your workspace. It's time to go meet HeyTaco.
