HeyTaco rewards are a great way to add some excitement to your taco economy. You can create custom tailored rewards that your team can redeem with the tacos they received. Rewards are built on a redemption model. For every taco you receive you also get a redeemable taco.

For example, Chandler has received three tacos, and has three redeemable tacos.

There are two types of rewards. There is individual rewards as well as group rewards. Individual rewards you redeem for yourself. Group rewards you work together with others to redeem.

When it comes to rewards I recommend starting with non-monetary rewards. Gift cards can work, but you can quickly find yourself in a situation where people are giving tacos because they just want the money. And if that's the case you have to question the impact of the tool.

HeyTaco customers typically find better results with experience rewards, online classes, social gatherings for the team, or even like a high five from the CEO. These rewards are fun. They're personable. They create everlasting memories.

So let's look at a team reward that I've created. Team rewards are a great way to bring people together around a shared goal and in this case, a feel good goal, tacos for charity. The way this works is anyone on the team can come in and contribute as many tacos as they like towards the reward. Once you get to 100 tacos, the team reward is considered redeemed. HeyTaco admins will get a notification that the reward has been redeemed.

So let me show you how you can create a reward. Individual and group rewards are created the same way, it's really simple. As an admin I come in here, I select the reward, there's some ideas on the side here. However, we find that teams have a lot of their own ideas as well.

So you set a title. You set a description. You set the amount that this reward is redeemable for. You set a quantity if you have a limited supply of an item. You add a fun image. And then you could keep this box ticked to let everyone know that you have created a reward. And then in the redemption instructions, you can add in instructions to allow the person who's redeeming this reward to know what to expect.. what the next steps are.

So i'm going to create a movie ticket. I have a title. I have a description. In the redemption amount I'm going to put this for 25 tacos. There is four of them and then in the instructions I'll say you know ask Debbie for the tickets. And then once I press submit, everyone will get notified that this new reward has been created.

It will also show up in the rewards area and it notified everyone as well.
